Alych Mari Padro Malave was born and raised in the mountains of Humacao, Puerto Rico. She started her career in Industrial Biotechnology and then transitioned into her real passion: cooking. Padro has experience from various islands in the Caribbean as well as South America. She graduated with high honors from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) with a Culinary Science & Nutrition Bachelors focusing on Baking and Pastry.
Padró has since joined CREA as the Culinary Specialist. As a RCA and IFT member, she is passionate about recipe development and innovation. When she is not cooking, she enjoys playing music, eating great food, and spending time with her loved ones.
