Mesay Wakjira researches, tests, develops, and implements innovative food products and techniques while also performing trainings custom to CREA. He holds a B.S degree in food science and engineering from the University of Maryland. After completing his internship, Mesay secured a full-time position as a Food Technologist at Fuchs North America in Maryland. For almost three years, he dedicated his entre time on learning and developing several skills by taking many challenging projects.
He joined CREA in 2021 as a Food Engineer, facilitating training for CREA sous-vide courses, extraction and Cryo-concentration, sensory training, managing CREA’s Kitchen Laboratory Equipment, and many other tasks.
