Hands-On Instruction in Sous Vide Methods and Food-Safety Best Practices
This course will be an introduction on the technique of sous vide geared for beginners. Participants will learn proper temperature control, basic probing techniques, vacuum sealing, and food safety. The course will be mainly hands-on workshop, with a small lecture. It is centered around building a complete meal including a protein, a vegetable, and a side.
This sous vide seminar will be held in Sterling, VA (CREA kitchens). Once registered, more travel instructions will be provided.
